Welcome!

Our group explores how metabolism shapes health and disease, spanning neurodegeneration, cancer, and cardiometabolic conditions. We integrate metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and genomics with computational analysis to reveal actionable biomarkers, elucidate molecular mechanisms, and develop targeted interventions. Ongoing projects pinpoint tau-related metabolic disruptions in Alzheimer’s disease, highlight the impact of dietary interventions on brain health, map tumor escape pathways in resistant lymphomas via spatial metabolomics, and reveal how microbial biosynthetic clusters offer new therapeutic opportunities. We also harness large-scale NMR-based approaches to refine cardiometabolic risk models and investigate COVID-19 metabolic signatures tied to clinical outcomes. Together, these efforts advance our understanding of metabolism’s central role in disease and drive innovations in both prevention and treatment.
